Once you book, you'll gain access to Opes+, our client portal. Before your session, you'll need to complete two quick tasks: fill in your financial details (income, expenses, assets, debts) and read our Investment Guide. This ensures we can make the most of your time together and provide tailored advice specific to your situation.

How long is the session and is it online or in-person?

Sessions typically run for one hour and are done via video call, making it convenient for you to join from anywhere in New Zealand. This also allows us to share screens and review documents together in real-time.

What happens after the session?

After your session, you'll have a clear action plan and next steps. There's no pressure to proceed - you can take your time to think things over. If you choose to work with us, we'll guide you through the entire process. If you decide property investment isn't right for you at this time, that's perfectly fine too.

I had a really fruitful meeting with Derry today. He took the time to listen and understood where I’m at now and where I’d like to be in the future, in regard to funding my retirement. This was a follow-up from last year, and I was impressed by how well he’d retained the details of my situation. No hard sell tactics, just supportive, positive and responsive
My wife and I decided to sell an older rental property in Auckland and shift into new build investment property. We contacted Opes, had an initial meeting with Lance Jensen and then progressed with a plan to buy a stand-alone new build in Rolleston and a town house in Auckland. Along with Opes Property Investment, we also utilized Opes Mortgages for financing. We found Opes to be an exceptional company to deal with. No hard sell tactics, just supportive, positive and responsive. All parts of the organisation we dealt with are set up extremely efficiently and the customer service is second to none. The new builds we ended up with were both built by excellent developers and while we could have spent the time working out what locations and developers to use ourselves, buying through Opes simplified the whole process and helped ensure our decisions were based on research. We highly recommend Opes and are also using Opes Property Management to manage the properties.
