Hi! I’m Serena Ann Sia, a Compliance Officer at Opes Partners.
With a legal background and 4 years' experience in compliance specialising in the financial services sector, it gives me the confidence to be able to perform my role efficiently.
You might come across me when I am volunteering, or sometimes just taking a leisurely walk, probably around Hagley Park or anywhere near the sea. I do love a good brunch, and places where there’s really good food - I have a really big appetite! I have two wee babies - Oreo and Chop (they’re my cats here in NZ), and I have 5 dogs (Sydney, Chiyo, Akira, Nala and Milou) back home in Malaysia. I also do love a little pottery from time to time, playing games, concerts, and travelling when I can.
Qualifications: LLB, Enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
