- Barry LowWe’re absolutely thrilled with our purchase of our new home from Universal Homes. Their after-sales service has been incredibly professional and helpful, ensuring that we’re happily settled in. They’ve even provided us with a 90-day defects warranty, offering peace of mind in case we encounter any issues with the home. From the day we signed for this new home until we moved in, the experience has been great. It’s a beautifully designed home, offering simplicity and comfort perfectly suited for our lifestyle.5/5 stars
- Scott RobertsonI had seen a property I liked I wanted my wife to see it. The agent showed my wife and she said yes. I said yes then another stepped in after and the agent sold it too another on the same day after I had viewed days before. The price of the property was cheaper on the universal website than other forms of property medium. I actually felt cheated as the agent knew my intention. No mention of not entertaining multi offers, which I agree with and no follow up with an intent to keep me on a list of potential buyers only that I should put in a back up offer. In this instance I will score Universal a 2. After I had told my story to friends, agent selling my house and financial broker they all agreed that it was not well handled.2/5 stars
- Volt OneI went to Hobsonville showhome to enter the axis series ballot by universal homes around October 2020. I was met by the rudest, most condescending and unhelpful agent ever in Steve Lindsey. He was reluctant to answer any of my questions and kept giving short unhelpful answers. When I first arrived he was laughing and joking with another couple also there for the same home, but clearly there was a difference in the way I was treated. Not a good first impression at all for me, for this guy to be the face of universal homes.1/5 stars
