How much deposit do I need to buy property? (New Zealand)
The deposit you need to buy a property all depends on if you are an owner-occupier, property investor or first home buyer
Owner-occupiers need 20% as a minimum.
Property investors need 20% for a New Build and 40% for an existing property.
First home buyers need 10-20% for a New Build and 20% for an existing property.
