Hi, I’m Nefe. I am a Registered Financial Adviser at Opes Partners and a Property Investor with 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Opes, I worked for one of NZ largest investment firms as a senior adviser specialising in KiwiSaver, Managed Funds. I looked after 2,000 different clients nest eggs with a combined value of over $13 million. To date, I have had the privilege of helping my clients invest in $26 million worth of property to secure their retirement. Before that, I was a loan writer in residential property lending.
My approach is simple: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? How do we get you there? I combine data-driven advice with mindset coaching so that you are not only making an informed investment decision, but a confident one.
Becoming financially free can feel overwhelming, and for many people, it seems impossible. It can feel like early retirement (or retirement at all) is a luxury reserved for those born into the right family or who had a winning business idea. So often, the can gets kicked down the road.
Growing up, I watched my parents struggle to make ends meet. I remember the moment I thought to myself, I do not want to turn out like this. My parents were not stupid; they were clever, hardworking people, but they did not have the financial literacy or money mindset to take control of their situation and change their outcome.
On top of owning 3 properties by age 30, I have seen firsthand how investing can change the trajectory of someone’s life. Purchasing a property is one of the biggest decisions you will make in your life, so it’s important you get it right. Whether this is your first investment property or your tenth, I am here to help every step of the way.
Only 44% of Kiwis feel prepared for retirement ( I wonder how many people actually are). It’s simply not enough to rely solely on NZ Super and KiwiSaver. That is where Opes comes in.
