Hi I'm Gary, a Mortgage Adviser here at Opes Mortgages. I have been investing in property for the past 14 years, and working in mortgages for the last five years. I initially started as a civil engineer, then got interested in property investing to get out of the rat race. I was fortunate to have met a wide range of investors over the years and even featured a few times on NZHerald. I have also dabbled in various business ventures such as property coaching, renovations, and sales training.
Five years ago I got into mortgages and banking starting at BNZ as a SME Business Manager, then a Business Partner. Over the years, I have successfully helped a wide range of first home buyers and mum and dad investors ranging from one property to 60+ properties. My investment, mortgages, and business lending experience allow me to deliver a broad level of understanding regarding advice and finance solutions to our clients.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and my two young daughters. My hobbies include investing, geopolitics, current affairs, macroeconomics, crime and sci-fi movies, and sports cars.
